OUTSTANDING FANCY HAIR DO CHINA DOLL
Circa: 1860 - 1870'S

Here is an
outstanding
antique German China doll with a
fancy hairdo
.
She is 14 inches tall.  The white screen is not included.  Her dress is hand sewn - check the picture where she has her jacket pulled back.  The dress is a blue pattern silk that is melting in a few spots.  I have not undressed her because of the condition of her outfit; but look at the picture of her pantaloons and underskirt - just wonderful!  This could be, and most likely, an original outfit. She does not have any damage to her china parts.  She wears brown boots.
Now notice her hairdo - very fancy.
This hairdo is what dates her being made in the 1860's to 1870's.   She has a gorgeous face with no scratches (take a close look).   She has wonderful antique blue bead earrings that match the color of her eyes.  Notice her  jewelry accessories: a metal chatelaine - which has :three keys; one white face time piece; a pair of scissors; a hook; and a perfume bottle.   And she wears a metal brooch with a green bead at the next of her jacket.  This is a terrific example of a fancy hairdo china.  From my home to yours.
