    Description

    Harold Charles Gatty [1903 1957] was a Australian aviation pioneer and noted navigator who Charles Lindbergh called the ''Prince of Navigators''. In 1931 Gatty served as the navigator for Wiley Post during their world record around the world flight which covered over 15,000 miles in 8 days and 15 hours in their Lockheed Vega named the Winnie Mae.
    Listed for auction is the autograph of Harold Charles Gatty signed on a postal envelope. The autograph is signed ''Harold Gatty'' in black fountain pen and the cover measures 6.50 x 3.50 inches and is in fine condition. The autograph is authentic and is a nice example of this noted aviation pioneer and will be accompanied with the above photograph of the Winnie Mae.
