This is an original Antique dog Oil Painting on canvas featuring a study of a Norwegian Buhund Dog, the dog which is shown in profile, the painting which is fully signed by the artist bottom right D. Johnson, is further inscribed to the rear Buhund, it is in very good original condition, matted, overall size including matt approx. 11" x 9" the artist Dorothy Johnson was born in 1902 and died in 1988 and from 1930 she began to paint dogs exclusively whilst attending major English dog shows. This is a very good quality oil painting of a rare breed of dog.
