    I am selling this antique wooden piccolo in D-flat, made by
    H. Bettoney, Boston

    The keywork appears to be made of solid silver, and the keys move freely. The pads also seem to be in fairly good condition. But the two pads sitting on the B/Bb thumb keys have become loose, and thus the piccolo is leaking air. So this issue may perhaps be the only thing preventing the piccolo from becoming fully operational. Near the body tenon there are a couple of shallow cracks, located around the rib (as can be seen on picture #5).
    On the headjoint it says:
