    Description

    Sweet little antique china head doll was made by the Hertwig Company in Germany around 1890.  She is 8" tall, with a low-brow black curly hairstyle, and has china hands and feet.  Those parts are all very solid, and I can't see any missing paint.  She is marked Germany on the back of her neck.  I believe the body is probably a little newer, but it is in very good condition.  Her undergarments are vintage, and her red and white checked prairie style outfit is newer, but trimmed with vintage lace.  Nice addition to a cabinet collection, or for a larger dollhouse.
