Condition: Original dress, colors, hair and light fixture. The doll is in good condition with minor chipping to the original paint on one finger. The dress has no tears or apparent defects. I did not plug in the cord because it is old and frayed. It should be rewired to be safe. Doll measures about 16" tall by 7 1/2" across the metal cage; dress measures about 12" across.

This unusual art deco chalkware half doll from the 1920's or 1930's is in great condition for its age. Everything is original, from the doll and hair to the dress, electrical cord and bulb. There is one small chip on one of the doll's fingers. The dress is beige lace with a beige underskirt. There are no rips or tears. The base is also in good condition and is stable. I don't know if this doll is German or French but it is apparently from the Art Deco period.
